Gas turbine exhaust monitoring (replacement of generic backscatter soot meter)
--A unit of Shanghai Shenneng Chongming Power Generation Co.

Scene Characterization:

Gas fume emission concentration is low (0-2mg/m3), the pipe diameter is small (2.2m) and the flow rate is fast (>).
20m/s), the dust is dominated by submicron metal oxides (particle size 0.1-1μm).

The original technology pain point:
General backscatter soot meters have low sensitivity, weak response at low concentrations, and errors >±20%;
General backscatter smoke meter maintenance requires disassembly.
Interfered by the background light of the flue wall, fluctuating and unstable.

Advantages of the dual-detector backscattering scheme:

Adaptable to very low concentration emission monitoring (0-5mg/m3 range);
The double detector principle adapts to small flues without the need to adjust the light path;
Maintenance without disassembly is efficient and data validity is greatly improved.

Application effect: After replacement, the error is <5% compared with manual weighing method, which meets the requirements of ultra-low concentration monitoring.
